Svendborg Brakes ApS (part of the ALTRA Group), based in Vejstrup, Denmark, was founded in 1884 as a mechanical engineering company and has been manufacturing disc brakes since 1989. With more than 30 years of experience Svendborg Brakes ApS is one of the most renowned manufacturers of brakes for various industries, such as wind turbines, mining or crane construction, to name a few.

A+S is a specialist for drive technology. With this step we expand our expertise and extend our portfolio. Thus, we will be able to act as a brake competence center in the future and respond better to our customer demand. In addition to several trainings of our staff, further strategic plans for the expansion of the business field “brake technology” will be realized in the coming months.
